COMMUNITY
2018
This was the transformation of a section of the libraries stacks and reading area into a “Maker Space” and Café. Our collaboration with Margret Sullivan Studios focused on a reimagining of libraries to include additional ways of learning and bringing people with similar interests together in a beautifully refinished space. Special attention was paid to the historic architecture of one of the main halls that was transformed into a space for 3D printing and small fabrication equipment, computer design stations and collaborative engagement areas. The second rooms renovations added a full-service café and coffee bar and renovation of the adjacent outdoor patio area.
